The analysis of agrarian economy policy in the new EU member states, candidate states and the Western Balkan countries. The objective of the project is the search for new political solutions for agriculture, the creation and development of the international expert network. Duration of the project is 2 years.

 

The scientists of the Lithuanian Agrarian Economy Institute are in the middle of the CEEC AGRIPOLICY project initiated by the European Commission, which is to achieve interactive agricultural economy, policy, data base of products and rural development specialists and to perform research on the topics of EU relevance. The participants of the project are 18 partners from 17 countries (new EU member states, candidate states and the Western Balkan countries). In the first year of the project the focus is on the analysis of sugar and grain sectors, the research of rural viability, the availability of credit to the agriculture of Lithuania.
