
The Lithuanian Social Science Centre (LCSS) is launching the project "Strengthening the Competences of Innovation and Technology Transfer Centres." Funding for this project is provided under Agreement No. S-ITPC-25-1 between LCSS and the Research Council of Lithuania (RCL) dated November 26, 2025. The agreement is being implemented by RCL and 12 science and study institutions as project partners.
LCSS's goal in the project is to develop the basis for the Innovation Transfer Centre (ITC) for the transfer and commercialization of knowledge and technology, strengthening its competencies, international relations, and infrastructure.
The project includes entrepreneurship and intellectual property training, participation in international networks of innovation and technology transfer centres, the implementation of a certified "living" laboratory, participation in various exhibitions and publicity events, and the presentation of artificial intelligence-based tools to interested parties.
Project implementation period: February 14, 2025, to December 31, 2028.
