Market Research No. 2 (23), Part 1, Market of the Lithuanian agricultural and food products and land, deals with the variations in the markets of grain, potatoes, vegetables, berries, fruit, mushrooms, meat, eggs and milk in the first quarter of 2004, in the market of land of agricultural purpose. The analysis includes prices, export and import flows of agricultural products. A comparison with neighbouring countries is presented.
Part 2, Scientific research and analytical surveys, deals with the impact of the common agricultural policy on Lithuania's agriculture and its sectors after the integration in the EU, Lithuania's foreign trade of agricultural and food products, issues of marine fishery, diversity of economic activities in the country-side and significance of consulting for the purpose of disseminating the provisions of the EU regulations to the farmers regarding the usage of the suspended land.
Annexes present the information on foreign trade of agricultural and food products, potatoes, vegetables, fruit and berries, the yield of fish in the world and in Europe.
