Market Research No. 2 (36), Part 1, Market of the Lithuanian agricultural and food products, deals with the variations in the markets of grain, rape, potatoes, vegetables, milk, beef, pork, poultry and eggs in the first half of 2007. The analysis includes the volume of the agricultural output and of the purchase, the prices, the export and import flows. The data on Lithuania is compared with the data on other countries, prognosis is presented. The survey of the most recent legislation related to agricultural produce is presented.
Part 2, Scientific research and analytical surveys, presents the substantiation of the seed potato growing system in Lithuania, deals with the changes of the country's foreign trade of agricultural and food products, the trends of support to rural development and loan taking processes in the agriculture of the country.
The information on the state support to the producers of the agricultural products is presented in the annex.
