The implementation of the “second child policy” and the influx of large numbers of people have led to an increase in the population of Zhejiang Province in China, placing pressure on the environment, health care, and education. Sustainability assessment is the key procedure applied for selecting building insulation materials in order to ensure satisfactory performance and long-term impacts on society and environment. Insulation of buildings is considered as a very efficient energy saving technique leading to significant reduction in GHG emission.
This study examines the factors affecting the cost of service trade between China and the countries of the EU. The costs between China and EU member states from 2005 to 2017 are measured using the improved gravity model. On the basis of relevant theories, the influencing factors system of service trade cost is constructed, and a dynamic panel model is used to conduct empirical analysis.

Conventional building materials (CBMs) made from non-renewable resources are the main source of indoor air contaminants, whose impact can extend from indoors to outdoors. Given their sustainable development (SD) prospect, green building materials (GBMs) with non-toxic, natural, and organic compounds have the potential to reduce their overall impacts on environmental and human health.

Changes in substitutability among inputs and outputs can help farms adapt to economic, technological, or societal changes. However, measurement of technical bias has only been carried out in a static framework, ignoring the confounding effects of technical bias due to adjustment costs. This paper integrates two streams of literature, that is one measuring dynamic inefficiency and the other measuring technical bias, thereby offering non‐parametric measures of technical bias for dynamic production technology.

The objective of this paper is to test whether the complete pass-through of exchange rate exists when there are almost no transaction costs and in the environment of competitive market. In general, the literature claims that the pass-through of exchange rate is incomplete due to imperfect market, i.e. the presence of transaction costs and imperfect competition. The quasi-experimental case of the food import to Hong Kong from Mainland China is considered in the analysis.

In this paper, we formulate an international duopolistic trade model to investigate the two-part tariff licensing strategy for a leader foreign firm. It is found that the optimal licensing contract includes only the royalty with a rate above the cost reduction for a low tariff rate, whereas it includes only the fixed fee for a high tariff rate; as for the tariff rate that falls in between, both the fixed fee and the royalty are included.
