Even though Chinese government has been promoting the development of renewable energy, coal-fired thermal electricity generation still accounts for nearly 70% of the total electricity generation, proving to be the largest carbon dioxide (CO2) emitter in China. Uncovering the driving forces of CO2 emissions, thus, is of great significance to provide appropriate mitigation policies for the sustainable development of China's thermal electricity generation. In this regard, this study aims to fill a research gap by applying Index Decomposition Analysis (IDA) approach via the Generalized Divisia Index Model (GDIM) to examine the driving factors behind the CO2 emission changes in China's thermal electricity generation during 2000-2016.
The changes in farm structure have been observed in Lithuania as well as in other Central and Eastern European countries. These changes, to a high extent, have been driven by decreasing profitability of the small farms. In this paper, we look into the changes in the profitability of Lithuanian family farms across different farm size groups. Farm size is measured in terms of the standard output. The period covered is 2005-2016.

External environmental factors play a significant role in the agricultural production of smallholder farmers. This is especially the case in developing countries where production is less technologically intensive. These factors are mainly exogenous and affect both the farmers’ input choices and the final output levels. However, previous studies of technical efficiency of smallholder agricultural production either ignore these factors or assume separability between environmental factors and input choice, which is often not the case in developing counties
The purpose of the article is to develop a model that could be used for estimating the level of the effect of the highlighted determinants on food retail prices. Research methodology - the study is based on the obtained monthly data of food retail prices that covers the period from 2016 I m. to 2018 XII m. (36 observations). Multiple regression modelling is used in order to create a model of foodretail prices.
There are no agreements among scientists in terms of relationships between Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Corporate Identity and Corporate Image (CI), Corporate Reputation (CR), and Corporate Brand (CB), and their mutual impacts as well the definition of these constructs cause a lot of scientific debates among scholars.
A wide range of climate change mitigation policies have been developed around the world and these policies have become one of the major concerns, however there is still debate among scientists about what are the main external benefits and how to account for them and prepare effective climate change mitigation policies that might be widely accepted by society in general.

XXI a. pradžioje kaimo politika išlieka viena iš svarbiausių viešosios politikos sričių. Šios politikos priemonėms diegti skiriama labai daug finansinių ir žmogiškųjų išteklių. Straipsnio tikslas - holistiškai įvertinti Lietuvos žemės ūkio politikos tikslus, priemones ir pasiekimus, identifikuoti galimas tobulinimo kryptis. Žemės ūkio politikos priemonių, taikytų Lietuvoje po nepriklausomybės atgavimo 1990 m., įvairovė ir pasiekimai analizuojami remiantis kokybinių struktūrų analizės metodu.
This paper proposes MULTIMOORA-IFN2 technique for multi-criteria decision making (MCDM). The proposed approach involves information fusion which allows considering information expressed in both crisp and fuzzy variables. What is more, we introduce the aggregation of the different parts of MULTIMOORA which makes the technique more operational, especially in case of large-scale applications.
Growth of PRC’s influence as a leading trade country has consequences for its trading partners; at the same time, over the past years China has become one of Ukraine’s major trading partners. Studying current specificities of the countries’ bilateral trade, opportunities and threats relating to it, developmental perspectives of trade-economic cooperation between Ukraine and PRC therefore certainly warrents further research.
