Agriculture, as a foundational industry with both economic and ecological attributes, plays a crucial role in ensuring the stable supply of ecological products, which is essential for sustainable development. As a key institutional mechanism for optimizing land resource allocation, the Rural Collective Property Rights System Reform (RCPRSR) has not been systematically examined in terms of its impact on the supply of agricultural ecological products.

Benefit of the doubt (BoD) models are widely used for multicriteria analysis. A BoD model allows the weights of criteria to vary across observations based on the observed data; however, this can reduce the discriminatory power and induce rank reversal. The common weight BoD was developed to mitigate these issues at the expense of the “benefit of the doubt” itself because a degree of weight flexibility is lost.

Reducing energy consumption and improving energy efficiency are particularly important for mitigating climate change. The main motives for saving energy and improving energy efficiency are economic and environmental. It is also necessary to implement the environmental policy. Thus, this paper aims to analyse attitudes towards ecological policy and the impact of economic and environmental factors on energy consumption and energy efficiency behaviours in European Union (EU) countries in 2022.

Forecasting hotel occupancy during external shocks is particularly challenging due to their disruptive effects. This study develops a forecasting framework that integrates multisource data using a time-varying parameter state-space model (TVP-SSM). In this framework, search engine data (SED) are used to construct exogenous variables, intervention variables are used to reflect the severity of external shocks, and holiday and weekend dummy variables are used to capture the seasonal effect.

This study examines family business performance through three theoretical lenses: dynamic capabilities, entrepreneurial orientation, and socioemotional wealth. Data were gathered from 156 Spanish family businesses and interviews with eight family business CEOs. Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to analyze the data. The results reveal valuable findings. Dynamic capabilities, particularly sensing, seizing, and resource reconfiguration, are critical for navigating dynamic environments and achieving sustainable competitive advantage.

Purpose – The prices and rents of land depend on its marginal productivity and a number of other factors (the range of economic and policy-related factors). Significant changes in the European Union (EU) agricultural policy and changes in productivity models in recent years have influenced land market dynamics. To properly understand the dynamics in the land market and relate it to changes in agricultural production and policy, it is important to establish a multi-factor model that would allow the main factors determining changes in land rental prices in the EU to be assessed.
This paper presents a novel hybrid methodology combining the COPRAS and TOPSIS multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) approaches with gradient vector field analysis to identify strategic pathways for socio-economic development across BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa). By leveraging weighted Positive Ideal Solutions (PIS) and gradient directions, the study evaluates the contribution of 31 socioeconomic criteria to utility maximization at the national level.

Financial instability has continued to unleash unparalleled challenges upon public listed agricultural food companies in Lithuania. Food supply chains experienced disruptions, consumer demand waned and the economy endured a downturn. Major public listed agricultural food companies confronted declines in total assets and book value of total assets as the pandemic disrupted their operations and eroded revenues. While the government supportive measures have provided relief, challenges such as soaring energy prices and inflation persist, consequently hindering investment in the agricultural food companies in Lithuania.
Forest bathing has gained growing attention for its psychological and physiological benefits; however, its economic dimension remains underexplored. This study addresses this gap by examining the relationships between forest bathers' socio-demographic and behavioral characteristics and their economic impact. The research was conducted on two forest trails in Lithuania, namely “Along the Lakes through Ethnographic Villages” and “Getting to Know Kazlų Rūda and Ažuolai Būda.”
